Jonathan Callan studied at Goldsmiths College, London 1980-84 and Slade School of Fine Art 1988-90. Originally trained as a sculptor, Callan works in a variety of media to stunning effect and is one of the more successful of recent British artists.
He is represented by Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery in New York and has shown at major galleries in Athens, Cologne, London, Los Angeles and elsewhere. The Museum of Modern Art in New York and The British Museum amongst others hold his work.
